• The specific Unit of Interest (e.g., Unit 06 or an upcoming unit)
Important notes:
• The website uses no cookies, no tracking technologies, no analytics tools, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
• No other forms, sign-ups, or data collection mechanisms exist on the site.
• Basic server logs (such as IP address and visit time) may be automatically recorded by our hosting provider (Wix) for security and maintenance purposes only. These are not linked to you personally.
2. Purpose of Collecting and Processing Your Personal Information
We collect and process your personal information solely for the following purposes:
• To contact you and respond to your expression of interest in our bachelor rooms or specific units.
• To understand demand for our properties and improve our rental offerings and availability information.
• To manage and administer our rental enquiries efficiently.
We will not use your information for marketing, advertising, selling to third parties, or any unrelated purpose unless you explicitly consent to such use.
3. Consent
By voluntarily submitting the interest form, you give your informed consent to the collection and processing of your personal information for the purposes described above, as required under POPIA.
You may withdraw your consent at any time (see “Your Rights” below). Note that withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to respond to your enquiry.
4. Sharing or Disclosure of Your Personal Information
• Your information is stored and processed on the Wix platform, which acts as our Operator (data processor). Wix is contractually required to process your data only according to our instructions and to maintain appropriate security.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.
• We may disclose your information only if required by South African law (e.g., a court order or legal obligation).
Cross-border transfer: Wix’s servers may be located outside South Africa. We have taken appropriate safeguards (via Wix’s Data Processing Agreement) to ensure your personal information receives an adequate level of protection in line with POPIA requirements.
5. Security Safeguards
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel on a strict need-to-know basis.
Although we take these steps seriously, no security system is completely impenetrable. We will notify you and the Information Regulator of any security compromises as required by POPIA.
6. Retention of Personal Information
We retain your personal information only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined above or as required by law (typically no longer than 12–24 months after your last interaction, unless a longer retention period is justified, e.g., for legal claims). Once no longer needed, your information will be securely deleted or anonymised.

Under POPIA you have the right to:

• Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion or destruction of your personal information (where lawful).
